Whenever you write a post or talk about content, you’ll want a strategy and an objective behind it. Whatever it is, knowing what you want to perform and having numbers behind it can help you plan what type of content to promote and a primary strategy to try to hit those numbers as well. Did you know that one of the very most powerful ways to grow your following is to talk about other people’s content? Yes, it’s true. Sharing other people’s content within your niche may help you create a huge following.

I grew my Pinterest account to over 100K by doing that. Now, let’s get to the good stuff! You want to create your own social content package as they say for every post you write. 99Designs: Great Business begins with a great logo design! You can get anything designed at 99Designs! There are numerous social arranging tools that make it easy to plan and put your articles on autopilot. A few of these are; Hootsuite, Buffer, Edgar, SmarterQueue, Tailwind and Planoly (Instagram). I take advantage of Tailwind for Pinterest and Instagram.

They can also post to Facebook and Twitter as well! You are able to sign up for a FREE trial with my hyperlink. I get a small fee for the referral without extra charge to you. I appreciate that really! Honestly, without Tailwind I’d spend half my week pinning pins that i hate to state, is one of the most tedious tasks in the world. With Tailwind’s Smart Loop you can even post your Evergreen pins throughout the year and special Seasonal pins just for holidays or special events! It’s important to be sure you always engage with your audience.

Respond to tweets, FB responses, other people’s content, talk about, like etc. on a consistent basis. But make sure you set aside a certain time block for it. It’s so easy to get carried away with social and spend a lot of time. Don’t allow it distract you and take you from your productive tasks like producing and promoting your most important content. I get into this more at length in my Beginners Social Media Tactics post.

The absolute best move to make is to monitor your own analytics (I take advantage of SEMrush and Tailwind for this) that may tell you specifically whenever your particular audience is most involved. Once size does not fit all as it pertains to this. You’ll find from your WordPress site, on Google Analytics, from your social schedulers as well. They have excellent monitoring tools to inform you when your enthusiasts are online.

Tailwind tells me exactly when my visitors are most involved, which articles they benefit from the best, which pins have the highest performance rate and are driving the most traffic to my website. SEMrush provides you an in depth cultural media marketing campaign analytics and audit survey as well. You can even see which advertisements and keywords your competitors are using to get the best response! Remember, it also depends wholly on the niche that you are in and what audience you are targeting. Take a look at your analytics and that will find the most effective times for you. The cultural sites themselves have their own analytics tools Even.

Twitter has Tweriod. I really like that true name! Instagram has Planoly, Iconosquare (14 day free trial) for Instagram and Facebook scheduling, and Instagram Insights. Pinterest has Tailwind like I described which offers a free trial but is a paid plan with different tiers. Pinterest also offers their own free analytics but it’s too general and simply doesn’t compare to Tailwind’s highly drilled down, complete information.
