That enemy will constantly whisper destructive lies in your thoughts like, “You’re not beautiful. You’re not valuable. You’re not worthy of anything.” Then he gets really specific along with his lays. “You’re too fat. ” “You’re too tall. ” “You’re too short.” “Your eyes aren’t the right color.” And the lies go on and on. Alternatively, Christ arrived to offer us true self-worth with a full and significant life. He wants us to feel filled with beauty, filled with joy, filled with peace, and full of meaning and value!
And Jesus tells us the reality will arranged us free. When we start to believe the truth of who we are and who God made us to be really, we’ll be arranged absolve to feel beautiful. Isn’t it time to stop believing the lies and begin living the reality? In all honesty, we’re tired of watching a generation of beautiful girls and women, with their mothers, being gradually and methodically demolished by the lies of Satan that our culture constantly tries to drive on us.
Beauty that goes beyond skin deep begins in the center of God, and He placed that desiring beauty in our hearts. To find that beauty we must stop looking in the damaged mirror of our culture and start viewing ourselves as the representation of His beauty. The only mirror that counts is God’s!
